When you add Tables to this Profile, you are defining a Database Table (from scratch) that only exists on the device where the developed Project is running. In Kalipso you can define a structure for a local database and when the application is deployed, the database will be automatically created on the device. This type of database is normally used to store temporary information. The data can be loaded from text files, used and then exported back to text files. Kalipso has actions to automatically export and import data to and from text files. For further information see the “File Import to Table” and “File Export From Table” in the “Actions” chapter.
