This Keyword returns a <string>, the path of the external Storage, normally the SDCard.
|
|
- The returned value doesn’t end with a "\".
- On Desktop Win32 it returns the drive path of the first removable drive it finds, like an USB drive, or external card.
- On Windows Mobile it returns the first registered "Flash card" on the system. Windows CE does not have this property, so it returns empty string.
- On Windows 10 it returns the first non read-only removable device found, like an USB drive or external card.
- On Android it returns the primary shared/external storage directory. Traditionally this is an SD card, but it may also be implemented as built-in storage in a device that is distinct from the protected internal storage and can be mounted as a file system on a computer.
- On recent Android versions Applications are not allowed to write to external SD cards.
